Britney Spears had a night out with friends after filing for divorce
Britney Spears opened up about her split from estranged husband Sam Asghari on Friday, and on Sunday she appeared to be celebrating the impending divorce.
Asghari filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court last Wednesday after 14 months of marriage. Although news of their split only broke last week, court filings obtained by The Times showed the couple have been separated since July 28.
Though the “Lucky” singer has yet to respond to Asghari’s petition in court, she broke her silence on the split on Friday on Instagram.
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together… 6 years is a long time to be with anyone so I’m a little shocked but… I’m not here to explain why because honestly.” it’s nobody’s business!!!” wrote the 41-year-old.
“But honestly I couldn’t take the pain anymore!!!” she added. “I’ve been gaming at full blast for far too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!! I’d love to show my feelings and tears about how I really feel, but for some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses!!!
“If I wasn’t my father’s strong soldier, I would be sent to places to be treated by doctors!!! But that’s when I needed my family the most!!! You shall be loved unconditionally… not on conditions!!!! So I will be as strong as I can and do my best!!! And I’m actually freaking fine!!!” she finished.

The “…Baby One More Time” singer – who was released from her family’s 13-year conservatory career in 2021 – appeared to be in a party mood all weekend. She posted on Saturday a racy topless video on Instagram to Annie Lennox’ cover of “I Put a Spell on You”.
She announced the next day another clip It features four shirtless men lifting her off the ground. She was also accompanied by a man who, at the command of the cameraman, licked her leg from boot to thigh. In the caption, Spears complained that paparazzi were notified of what was happening is referred to as her “divorce party”.
“When you meet up with a so-called ‘friend’ and drive an hour to the chicken!!! Then you have to wait in the car and go to the bathroom,” she wrote. “I knew paps were pointed out because the car I was in had never been used before… So how was it that I was being followed???” Malibu Canyon Road is the most terrifying road it’s been on ever ridden…so what does a bitch like me do!!!??! The pop superstar’s marriage to Asghari was her third. She was previously married to Jason Alexander for 55 Hours in 2004 and to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007, with whom she has two teenage sons. This was Asghari’s first marriage.
A day after filing, Asghari said the decision to end their union was a mutual decision.
“After six years of love and dedication to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” the model and actor wrote in their comment Instagram story. “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for one another and I always wish her the best.” “S— happens,” he continued. “Asking for privacy seems ridiculous to me, so I just ask everyone, including the media, to be kind and considerate.”
A rep for Asghari also denied rumors that the actor-model planned to blackmail Spears with embarrassing information to challenge her marriage contract.
In the meantime, TMZ reported Monday that anyone hoping to read about the dissolution of their relationship in Spears’ upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, will be disappointed. The pop star has reportedly already given her blessing to the book and no changes will be made to reflect the split when it is released in October.
