The couple got the pets throughout their long relationship and while the divorce is far from settled, they have agreed to split up their dogs.

Britney, 41, will keep four of the five dogs while Sam, 29, will keep one. TMZ has reported.
The actor retains custody of a Doberman named Porsha, which he bought as a gift for the Toxic singer.
He was spotted walking the dog on Monday.
The Australian Shepherd named Sawyer, the Yorkie named Hannah and two smaller dogs will stay with Britney.
According to the outlet, both parties are satisfied with the agreement.
During their relationship, Britney and Sam had some issues with their pets.
In February, they received an alert from Animal Control after their Doberman escaped and bit an elderly male.
The man – reportedly in his 70s – was cycling through the neighborhood when the escaped dog approached him and bit his leg.
Due to the incident, he sought medical attention.

WELCOME PORSHA
Sam gifted Porsha to Britney in October 2021.
At the time, she shared a video of her new pet while her then-boyfriend introduced her to the world.
He said in the clip: “Her name is Porsha and she will love you unconditionally.
“It’s trained to protect you from any crap that comes around with bad intentions.”
The couple brought Sawyer — a puppy — home in February 2022.
They rescued the dog from Hawaii.
Britney flaunted it online and wrote: “Gosh… you can have two loves of your life because he comes second!!!!”
“Introducing my family’s reboot…his name is Sawyer and he is a white Australian Shepherd with blue eyes!!!!!
“I found him like in a dream on Maui and immediately took him home. It’s funny… he doesn’t answer but it’s like he understands what I’m saying!!!!
“I can talk to him about potty training for 30 minutes and reward him for potty training in the toilet!!!!
“I think he understands me, especially with those eyes he melts my heart…he needs me and I like that!!!!”
DOG DRAMA
In August 2021, it was reported that Britney was under investigation for allegations her dogs were unwell.
The Louisiana native has been accused of hitting her housekeeper during an argument over her dog.
She allegedly slapped the phone out of the employee’s hand after taking one of the dogs to the vet, The US Sun confirmed at the time.
Officials told the outlet at the time that there were “no injuries” and “no arrests.”
TMZ reported at the time that the singer’s two dogs were “seriously ill” and one was even “near death”.
A source told the outlet that the housekeeper believed the only way to save the animals was to take them to the vet, which meant the dogs were kept away from Britney.
The insider claimed one of Britney’s dogs has serious digestive problems, although both pets are supposed to be fed a special type of food.
The housekeeper is said to have become concerned after seeing the dogs being regularly fed scraps of food that could make the pets very ill.
She also claimed that both dogs were dehydrated due to lack of water.
It was this concern that initially prompted her to go to the ambulance.
