Britney Spears’ Rare Spoken Videos Promo Book Twice, Same Script, Man’s Voice – Plus, Vegas Slap

Britney Spears speaks directly to her fans from where she usually spins and dances, and on Tuesday night she released a couple of new videos heralding her forthcoming memoir with the exact same script – one with heavy breathing and strange comments at the end – and another that breaks down the slap and subsequent table apology.
Fans who keep track Britney Spears’ Various dance videos got a big surprise Tuesday night when the “Toxic” singer gave up music and dancing and instead shared two heartfelt messages.
In rare spoken word videos posted to her Instagram page, the pop princess first announced her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me – which also received an award video promo — as well as her reaction to the viral story that went viral in Las Vegas.

In particular, Britney clearly had trouble with the reactions that suggested she deserved to be slapped by Victor Wembanyama’s personal security officer for condescending to walk up to him and slap him on the shoulder.

“Security did their job and protected their client,” Britney mimicked what she’d heard about the story on the radio. “I’ve dated the most famous people in the world,” she continued, echoing her earlier comments about traveling with *NSYNC and her own legions of fans.
“My security never once touched them or even got close to them,” she said, pointing a punitive finger at the camera. “The point is I didn’t appreciate people who said I deserved to be hit because no woman ever deserves to be hit.”
A little later, in the short video, she confirmed to media reports that she had received an apology after the incident at her table and emphasized that it came “30 minutes later”. Before saying goodbye, she also noted, “I haven’t received a public apology yet.”

In a previous video, Britney teased her new book, telling her fans, “I worked hard for this book. I had a lot of therapy to finish this book, so enjoy it better! And if you do.” “That’s okay too.”
She then awkwardly switched to a spoken/sung version of the Beach Boys’ “Kokomo.” But it’s not so much what she said in this video that caused confusion among fans.
Heavy breathing could be heard the whole time, and when she ran out of frame at the end and grabbed a pair of sunglasses to return to dancing, a male voice was heard saying, “Too much, too much,” as she ran toward her and turned off the camera.
Add to that the fact that she’d also previously recorded and posted a handheld selfie video promoting the book, in which she gave almost exactly the same speech, with an even lower-energy “Kokomo” at the end. After that first video, and with it a second one, was she told, “Not enough”?

It’s as if fans got an unexpected glimpse of Britney Spears’ one-of-a-kind Instagram experience, which has been stunning fans even before the end of the conservatory period. It seems clearer now that someone else is involved in the videos.
At the time of publication, both promotional videos are live and active on her IG page with the same “script” – although it could just be that she liked what she said in the first and repeated it in the second – alongside the breaking video on the release.
They are also both sent to her Instagram storiessuggesting that she and/or her team are well aware of the repetitive clips, but still use them with both to promote their memoir.
In other words, Britney Spears has a new book coming out on October 24, 2023, and she’s obviously hoping all her fans know about it. We suspect they are.
