Brits’ perfect three-course meal revealed – so do your choices make the menu?

A CLASSIC 1970s shrimp cocktail appetizer, followed by steak and chips with pepper sauce and apple crumble was voted the perfect dinner.

Researchers surveyed Brits to find the starter, main course and ultimate pudding for the three-course meal of their dreams.

The first dream course won 40% of the vote – beat spring Roll into second position.

When it comes to their favorite main dish, 51% choose medium-rare steak, with lasagne. Next over 38 percent.

A poll of 2,000 Britons carried out by Rodda’s Cornish lotion has found apple Crumb and custard desserts above 39%.

Sue Cobbledick, Marketing Director at Rodda’s, said: “We’re passionate about discovering quintessential recipes that resonate with the whole country.

“The combination of tender steak, paired perfectly with the luxurious creamy pepper sauce, claimed its place at the top of the list.”

The survey also revealed that 85% of Brits enhance their meals with indulgent ingredients.
