Brooksville man wins $1M from lottery scratch-off

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) – A Brooksville man has won $1 million from the Florida Lottery scratch-off game, according to an announcement Monday.

Joseph Kudla bought a 500X Cash Robbery game ticket at Uncle Ed’s at 19275 Cortez Blvd in Brooksville.

The $50 scratch-off game has a top prize of $25 million – the Florida Scratches game’s biggest-ever prize pool. The overall odds of winning the game are 1 in 4.50.

Kudla opted to receive a one-time, one-time payment of $820,000. Uncle Ed will receive $2,000 in commission for selling the winning ticket.
