Brothers & Sisters star Luke Macfarlane is a father and reveals the birth of daughter Tess

On Wednesday, the actor announced that he and Hig Roberts recently gave birth to a baby girl together – and took her home last Sunday.

“Tess Eleanor Macfarlane – born June 4, 2023,” the Bros star posted on Instagram, tagging Roberts. “We started life with a hectic few days and received top-notch care. We were allowed to bring them home on Father’s Day.”

“Her fathers can’t wait to introduce her to all the amazing people and beautiful world we live in,” he added.

The photos show Macfarlane in a hospital room holding the child, as well as a shirtless shot of him making skin-to-skin contact with the little girl. Another picture shows little Tess grabbing Robert’s finger.

One of the two videos shows the couple leaving the hospital with their daughter, while someone filming exclaims, “She’s freeing herself.”

Macfarlane, who came out publicly in 2008, has apparently done a good job of keeping his personal life private. So far, neither he nor Roberts – who wrote history by becoming the first member of the US Alpine Ski Team and the first male World Cup alpine skier to come out in 2020 – had spoken out about their relationship. Roberts is currently a sports agent.

Their only other photos together are from last December when they climbed Mount Aconcagua in the Andes.

Mafcarlane’s comments were awash with congratulatory messages from her famous friends, including the Bros.’ Billy Eicnher, Dot Marie Jones and Gus Kenworthy, and Luke’s “All the Way” fellow singles Michael Urie, Jennifer Robertson and Philemon Chambers.

“Oh wow!!!! Bravi,” Urie wrote, while Robertson added, “So happy for you!!! Wonderful!”
