Former NXT Superstar Candice LeRae took to social media to tease her about her future after leaving WWE.
LeRae will take a break from developing the brand in the fall of 2021 as she prepares to give birth to a baby in February. Earlier this month, her WWE contract expired. While many assume she is a few months away from returning to the squared circle, her future is in full swing after she leaves the show.
However, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team champion could be on her way back to the squared circle if her recent social media antics continue. Over the weekend, both former NXT Superstar and All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice Presidents, The Young Bucks, updated their banners on Twitter.
Both images depict moments from their opposite-sex tagging team’s match in 2014 for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

On this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, both Samoa Joe and Britt Baker are expected to face mystery opponents in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
There has been a lot of speculation this month about the identities of those who will appear as ‘Jokers’ on Dynamite. Possible names range from Cesaro and Athena (formerly Ember Moon) to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae.
While some have said that LeRae’s return to the ring after giving birth is too soon to return to the ring, reigning SmackDown Women’s champion Ronda Rousey has returned to the ring for WWE around the same time. .
It remains to be seen whether LeRae will debut in AEW anytime soon. Fans will no doubt be curious to find out if she will appear to face off against Britt Baker as her mysterious rival.
