Car flips into construction hole in Donelson, driver hospitalized

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are responding to a vehicle believed to have flipped into a construction hole on Stewarts Ferry Pike early Friday morning.

According to first responders, the incident happened at 4:12 a.m. at 585 Stewarts Ferry Pike. The male driver is believed to have been taken to hospital, but police say he is expected to survive.

It is not yet clear how the vehicle got off the roadway.
