If you’ve ever been the owner of long, well-manicured tips, you’ve no doubt heard one of these questions: How do you work with those? Can you even type? How do you use the bathroom? Having long nails can be laborious for some, but keeping them long doesn’t offend others, who have found a way to adapt to them. On May 16, rapper Kash Doll presented a new dilemma, especially for moms who love long nails: how the hell do you change diapers?
Kash asked fellow rapper Cardi, who is known for her extremely long and lavish acrylic paintings, advises because she is having a hard time changing her baby’s diaper with the presses. In response, the Bronx rapper shared a helpful one-minute guide to using a stuffed teddy bear, while also proving that she can do a lot.
She begins the tutorial by removing the teddy bear’s white sweater. Immediately, our eyes fell on the red claws, sculpted with sharp nails, which looked as bright as a fresh strawberry. She then proceeds to remove the diaper and points out how she likes to wipe, emphasizing that it’s important to thoroughly wipe off your baby’s booty and get in all the little crevices. She easily wipes the teddy with her tomato-red fingernails, and if we had to guess, they’re probably longer than a lipstick stain.

In the midst of her cleaning, her lovely daughter Kulture appeared and asked in a lovely lisp, “Mom, why are you wiping your butt?” Cardi smiled back and said, “It’s a long story.” Once the bear is thoroughly cleaned, she can comfortably apply a new diaper. When she reattached the buttons on onesie, she shared that it was her least favorite part before the video ended.
Cardi B makes diaper changes look easy even with her long nails, perhaps proving that long nails aren’t as difficult to manage as some claim. Or maybe it was just Cardi’s magic.
