Carroll County Public Schools To Hold Meeting On Former Volleyball Coach Facing Child Porn Charges – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Carroll County Public Schools will hold a public meeting next week about a volleyball coach and long-time substitute teacher at Westminster High School who now faces four child pornography charges .

School administrators, a victim expert from the FBI’s Baltimore office, and a Springboard Community Services advisor will provide updates on this case and discuss trauma response and peer support. , according to an email sent to parents.

Evan Thomas Harris Frock, 32, of Taneytown on Monday was charged with four counts of enticing a minor to produce child pornography, four counts of distributing child pornography, two of two counts counts of Intentional solicitation of a child and eight counts of Possession of child pornography.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Frock allegedly used various Snapchat accounts to send, receive, and solicit sexually explicit photos and videos of underage girls. He is alleged to have represented himself as a male high school student to facilitate the exchange of sexually explicit photos and videos.

Frock is the head of Varsity Volleyball Coach and a longtime substitute teacher at Westminster High School, officials said. He worked as the Athletic Director of Liberty Christian School in Owings Mills until the summer of 2020, the school confirmed.

Authorities said Frock used the Snapchat names volleygirlhan, volleygirl1025, laxguy2323 and Pictures1025. Investigators believe Frock contacted more than 1,000 Snapchat users.

The Carroll County Advocacy and Investigations Center, which is part of the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, executed a federal search and seizure warrant at Frock’s home Monday. Officials said the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received Cybertipline’s report on Frock’s Snapchat activity between April 2021 and October 2021.
