Cars collide on empty roundabout – but viewers are divided on who’s to blame

A VIDEO showing the moment two cars collide in an empty roundabout has gone viral on social media – and people are divided over who is actually to blame.

The TikTok clip shows a car with a dashcam trying to exit the roundabout at a ramp, but instead plows straight into a passing Jaguar luxury sedan.

Footage begins with the dash cam showing the poster’s car waiting to enter the roundabout.

It’s an everyday scene, although there isn’t much traffic and only a few cars ahead.

Just as the last car passes in front of the dashcam motor, a silver Jaguar sped past in the outside lane of the roundabout.

At this point, the road is completely clear and the dashcam fires off pretty quickly – to the inside lane.

But instead of following the lane, he appears to be aiming straight for the jaguar on the outside lane.

Just as the Jaguar pulls past one of the exit ramps, the poster’s car crashes into the side of the expensive engine and although no damage can be seen it looks like a major collision.

However, the dash cam driver still manages to steer his car onto the hard shoulder of the exit before the video ends.

Viewers were divided as to who actually caused the crash.

One said: “It looks like the cameraman drove into the side of the Jaguar on purpose to prove he could have easily stopped.”

Another replied: “You literally can’t tell me that was the tines’ fault… the cam was supposed to yield to the outer ring.”

While another viewer replied: “Be wrong. If he is out of lane on a two-curve roundabout, he must take the third exit and not make a U-turn, which would put him in lane.”
