CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Gives Jack a Reality Check; Mariah Supports Tessa; Devon and Nate Begin a Power Struggle

Nothing beats a new week and new opportunities to get CBS spoilers for “The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) looking forward to possible twists and turns that’s to come.

It looks like we’ll have to wait for plot twists later in the week, as we’ll be reverting to the usual safe storylines after a brief change in pacing.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Reality Check

After screwing up the biggest event in years by letting the death of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) happen off-screen to heighten the mystery and protect Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) character, the writers bring us back to safe storylines.

To kick things off, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try one more time to wake up Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) so Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is the baddest person alive.

She will point out that she is manipulating them by helping Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) deal with Ashland’s death. Phyllis will argue that it is common for Diane to use these moments to cheat on her and then remind Jack of how Ashland lied and how he ended up.

Young and the Restless isn’t sure if that’ll work as planned, but there’s a chance Phyllis has another card up her sleeve, as she may have already done something to cause Diane to fail.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Full Support

With Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) surgery over, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will stay by her side as she recovers.

It will be another opportunity to show how much Mariah loves her as we feel this represents a possible angle for the end of Tessa’s singing career as it gives Mariah a chance to be there for her.

It will be an offset to when Tessa helped Mariah after her pregnancy.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Devon vs. Nate

It had to happen once Nate Hasting (Sean Dominic) followed his gut instinct and deviated from the script when launching the company.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has become so overprotective of the family business that he only accepts similar viewpoints, which means safe and conservative.

Nate’s aggressive go-get-em style rubs Devon the wrong way, and now we’ll see a power struggle between them begin.

Nate has his moments, but we’re on his side and think Devon should listen and help him grow instead of trying to dominate him. What do you think?

Let us know below, and be sure to tune in to Young and the Restless for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
