CDPR’s single-player ‘Gwent’ spin-off is out today on PC and mobile

CD Projekt Red has released another entry in its series of The Witcher games. The studio is Gwent: Rogue Mage as a single player expansion for , but it is sold separately. It’s available today for $10 on PC, iOS, and Android. A $20 premium edition offers perks for Gwent.

The game is a roguelike deck builder. You move around a procedurally generated map and engage in card battles based on the mechanics of the original Gwent. You can improve your army by collecting more cards and equipment. There are also dozens of difficulty modifiers.

Tortsov says it will likely take players over 30 hours to complete and find everything rogue mage, which is designed for gaming sessions lasting up to an hour. The game can be played entirely offline, although there are online features like leaderboards and cross-saves so you can pick up where you left off on other devices.
