Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou reacts to Tottenham manager job news

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has broken his silence on reports he is all but certain to leave Celtic for Tottenham Hostpur.

SunSport exclusively revealed that Postecoglou could be appointed Spurs boss as early as NEXT WEEK.

The Hoops are understood to have come to terms with the loss of their manager and have already begun drafting a shortlist of potential substitutes.

Earlier this week it was reported that Tottenham were ready to step up their interest in the Celtic manager after this weekend.

As talk of Postecoglou’s future intensifies, he and his Hoops players must prepare for the Scottish Cup final.

On Saturday they will face Inverness in Hampden for the title.

Postecoglou said: “It doesn’t register with me.”

“I understand the great interest and why people like to speculate about these things.

“It just doesn’t feel right for me to let my mind wander on anything other than getting our team ready for a big day on Saturday.”

“I’ve done this dance a few times this year.”
