CELTIC are on the verge of bringing in Polish defender Maik Nawrocki – but it could just be one and one in the Hoops’ back line.

The Sweden international joined the Hoops from Rubin Kazan in one of Ange Postecoglou’s first moves on the transfer market and after a rocky start in Scotland established himself as a reliable defender last season.

He saw his partner Jacynta leave the hoops after the couple had a fight a Relationship That was revealed last season.

And the report suggests that an offer in the pipeline this week could open up its own exit route.

With Rodgers having significant spending power, transfer rumors aren’t far behind Parkhead and Kieran Tierney’s name continues to be linked with a potential return – although Newcastle is also mentioned for the Scotland international.

Brendan Rodgers was quick to dismiss last week’s links to Brazilians Ferreira and Mohamed Reda, claiming “to be perfectly honest, I don’t even know those players”.

But Tierney admitted his Future at Arsenal is open.

Rodgers refused to rule out a return move for the 26-year-old but Eddie Howe has also been linked with the 39-time Scotland international.

Tierney admitted, “It’s not really up to me.”
