Chelsea confirm signing of ‘next Paolo Maldini’, 17, from Premier League rivals in cut-price transfer

CHELSEA have completed the signing of promising defender Ishe Samuels-Smith from Everton.
The 17-year-old made the move to Stamford Bridge after impressing for Everton Under-21s and is happy to be a Blues.
Samuels-Smith said after the deal was confirmed: “It came as a shock to me because it all happened so quickly, but I’m really happy to be here.”
“It will be a good experience coming to such a big club. It will be a new challenge because there are top players here, so I have to adapt quickly and master the levels.”
Chelsea fans are also pleased with his capture and predict big things for Samuels-Smith’s future.
