Chelsea fans demand Reece James is made captain after defender’s BRUTAL Twitter response to Arsenal supporter

CHELSEA fans have demanded that Reece James be named captain.
It comes after the defender delivered a brutal Twitter transfer response to an Arsenal fan.
James, 23, is already a favorite among Stamford Bridge fans thanks to his never-dying attitude and physical and technical ability.
He handed his future over to the club on a six-year deal in September.
And while the likes of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz have slipped away to direct Premier League rivals, James has stayed on to help Mauricio Pochettino perform well next season.
But James made himself even more popular with Chelsea fans when he became involved in a Twitter exchange with a Gooner.
The Arsenal fan, who saw Blues forward Havertz join his club for £65m this week, tweeted: “Reece James to Arsenal who says no?”
This prompted a hilarious and brutal response from James, who thundered, “I say no.”
Chelsea’s official account then chimed in, posting a picture of James celebrating in front of Arsenal fans and writing: “One of us.”
And supporters quickly rallied around the England right-back, urging him to become Chelsea’s new captain.

One said: “For life, our future and captain.”
Another explained: “Definition of ‘proper chels’.”
One remarked: “Chelsea through and through.”
Another added: “Make him captain immediately.”
James’ takeover as captain could soon become a reality as SunSport announced that current captain Cesar Azpilicueta will join Inter Milan on a free transfer.
It certainly won’t be his academy-mate Mount, who is now on the verge of a £60million move to Manchester United.
Chelsea and the Red Devils returned to the negotiating table after talks reached an impasse.
And Mount, who had turned down several contract offers from his boyhood club, will now join forces with Harry Maguire and company at Old Trafford.
