Chelsea Handler heads to Music City; Announces new projects local rapper Jelly Roll

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WKRN) – A great comedian will join the Mother Church of Country Music next month!

Chelsea Handler is filming a special at the Ryman Auditorium during her Vaccinated and Horny Tour. Her friend and fellow comedian Jo Koy is producing the event. Handler said she’s in love and inspired and their relationship is heating up like a summer in Nashville.

“I love being in Nashville. I feel like they could use a few more swimming pools to be completely honest. Because every time I go there, I ask myself, “Where’s your pool?” You have the biggest backyard I’ve ever seen. I wonder, don’t southerners like to swim?”

From performing at Zanies to filming another documentary Hello Privilege. It’s me Chelsea,” Handler told News 2 in Middle Tennessee, the upcoming special has really shut down. But that’s not all, Handler has his hands full with several projects in the works – including developing a reality show with Antioch rapper Jelly Roll.

“It was great to meet him and understand the world he lives in. It’s a world I wasn’t familiar with, so I always love to change my mind,” she said. “I love to keep changing my world view.”

She said that all that fried food might make her feel awful, but Nashville still has her coming back for more! The tour stop will be at the Ryman Auditorium on June 10th. Click here to buy tickets.
