The Chevy Bolt has one Interesting Story. It beat the Model 3 in the market but never matched the sales numbers of Tesla’s offering. Then came a refreshed, larger Bolt EUV, which had a serious problem with its LG Chem batteries, causing fires, leading to a massive recall. Long story short, it was a ride.
Well, the batteries have been replaced and the larger Bolt EUV is finally making its way into the driveways. We shot the Bolt EUV for a week and were impressed with what Chevy is doing. The Bolt is based on an older EV architecture, meaning it won’t charge on the road as quickly as newer EVs, but it comes at a price point that makes the vehicle a compelling proposition for those after an EV looking won’t break the bank.
