Chick-fil-A confirms four popular items coming to grocery stores across U.S., including Walmart after ‘successful test’
CHICK-FIL-A fans will be thrilled to learn that the chain is launching four of its most popular salad dressings in grocery stores nationwide this month.

While most people know the brand for their fried chicken and iconic Chick-fil-A and Polynesian dipping sauces, the Fast food Riese has also won the hearts of customers with its special salad dressings.
Southern Chicken Restaurant piloted its retail bottles of salad dressings into stores Ohio And Tennessee last fall before deciding to take it nationally.
Walmart, Kroger The Meijer customers there were able to try the salad dressings at home and were visibly impressed.
Beginning this week, 12-ounce bottles of all fan-favorite salad dressings will be available at participating grocery and Walmart stores nationwide.
“From Boston to Sacramento, customers who heard about our pilot have told us they’d like to buy bottles of their favorite Chick-fil-A salad dressing at their local grocery stores,” said Michael Garrison, senior director of innovation and new Things to do at Chick-fil-A, in a statement.
Dressing offerings so far include Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing, Garden Herb Ranch Dressing, Creamy Salsa Dressing, and Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing.
Nicknamed Chick-fil-A’s most popular option, Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing gives customers creamy avocado spices and lime to add that special something to any salad or wrap.
The Garden Herb Ranch Dressing, on the other hand, is an old classic with buttermilk ranch flavor enhanced with garlic, onions and herbs.
The creamy salsa dressing has a little more to offer.
Served with Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Southwest Salad with a filling mix of cumin, pepperoni, tomatoes and garlic.
The final Chick-fil-A salad dressing offering, the Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette is certainly the lightest of the options.
It’s made with apple cider vinegar, fruit juices, spices, and honey, giving it a “strong but sweet flavor.”
The salad dressings complement Chick-fil-A’s earlier retail launch, which included the famous Barbecue, Polynesian, Sweet & Spicy Sriracha. and Chick-fil-A sauces.
Chick-fil-A also released a variety of dressing recipes to celebrate their launch.
Company favorites include the Avocado Lime Ranch Scramble, Southwest Creamy Salsa Corn Salad, Cheddar Ranch Biscuits with Ham, and even a spicy bacon and potato salad with apple cider vinaigrette.
“Bringing versatile flavors to the table, our dressings are perfect for marinating chicken, drizzling tacos or making a pasta salad,” Chick-fil-A chef Christy Cook said in a statement.
Shoppers have also suggested using the dressings as a dipping sauce for vegetables or spreading them on a wrap or sandwich.
“We love seeing the culinary creations that our customers are already making with their favorite Chick-Fil-A dressings, like creamy salsa waffle fries,” said Cook.
“Now we can’t wait to see what they create with our bottled salad dressings in their own kitchen.”
Chick-fil-A operates nearly 3,000 restaurants nationwide.

Chick-fil-A recently made headlines for closing one of its locations in South Carolina.
The location was closed at Sumter Mall, about 100 miles north of Charleston.
While fans were initially upset by the news, Chick-fil-A promised to set up a new location in the area soon.
“After 43 years of guest service, Chick-fil-A Sumter Mall will officially close in the coming weeks,” Chick-fil-A, Inc. told the US Sun in an email.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Sumter community at Chick-fil-A McCrays Mill, which is expected to open in late spring/early summer 2023.”
Now Chick-fil-A’s biggest rival KFC has launched a new meal honoring mothers this Mother’s Day.
The new Nuggets of Appreciation meal will be available for a limited time from May 10th to May 14th.
Launched just in time for the holidays, the combo includes 12 free chicken nuggets and a downloadable greeting card.
The meal also includes:
- 8 extra crispy chicken fillets or bone-in chicken (original recipe or extra crispy)
- Two large homemade sides (French fries, mac and cheese, coleslaw, or mashed potatoes with or without gravy)
- Four cookies
- KFC Dipping Sauces
The specialty meal offering came shortly after KFC introduced its first chicken nuggets.
There’s also a limited-time, unprecedented Chicken Nugget Mac and Cheese Bowl.
Also, the nugget menu can only be ordered online or via the KFC mobile app, and prices vary by location.
Popeyes, another top contender for chicken, is bringing it back strawberry biscuit as a fixed menu item.
The restaurant also decided to bring back its famous restaurant Ghost Pepper Chicken Wings this month.
A box of six is just $5 and gives you a special smoky ghost pepper flavor on traditional Popeyes wings and a side of buttermilk ranch sauce.

You can register with Chick-fil-A via the app or online.

The amount you need varies by item, but redeeming a medium waffle fries costs 400 points.
Some larger items, like the chicken sandwich, cost 800 points.
The “My Rewards” section is particularly useful in the app as it displays limited-time offers and deals.
