Christian Slater wants $3.95 million for Miami villa

After nine years in Miami, actor Christian Slater is shopping around a Spanish-style mansion for $3.95 million.

Slater, who starred in films like “Heathers” and “True Romance,” paid $2.21 million for the property in 2013. Since then, he’s made a number of changes, swapping floors Dark hardwood to lighter oak floors and add modern furniture in the white spaces.

Covering a quarter of an acre, the property is located a short walk from Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, an affluent neighborhood whose famous residents over the years have included Madonna, Sylvester Stallone and LeBron James. .

The gate shields the house from the street, opening onto a lush landscaped driveway leading to a covered entrance. Built in 1928 but updated since then, this two-story location features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and custom-arched mahogany doors across nearly 3,300 square feet.

The Juliet balcony hangs over the main suite, and the second story opens onto a terrace overlooking a private backyard with pool and patio. A separate guesthouse with a steam bath completes the property.

Liz Hogan and Charles Celesia of Compass Florida hold the list.

Slater, 52, rose to fame as Jason Dean in “Heathers” before more recent roles in “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” “Interview with the Vampire” and “Dr. Death.” He also won a Golden Globe for his performance in the TV series “Mr. Robots.”
