Christmas 2022 in Philadelphia: Action News Top 6 things to do this holiday season in the city with Jessica Boyington

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas in Philadelphia! So I took a tour of some of the holiday delights in the area. Just call Rudolph for him to go ahead!

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. in Dilworth Park is a winter wonderland of shops with local artisans, jewelers and designers stocked with everything you could want this Christmas.

When you’re done with your wallet (and when you’re feeling brave), you can rent skates and try your luck at Rothman Rink.

Tickets to Luminature, the annual exhibition that brings that, are available now Philadelphia Zoo to the light, with millions of sparkling decorations covering the zoo grounds.

See the penguins, gorillas, flamingos and all your favorite animals surrounded by beautiful displays – holiday fun for all ages!

Fridays and Saturdays is the Sofitel hosts a Holiday High Tea for Philly’s finest.

All scones, sandwiches and sweets are made right in house and beautifully arranged on three delicious tiers.

I’ve had some tiny little chicken salad sandwiches, mini olive buns with creamy feta cheese topping, and crab and andouillewurst quinoa cups. They also perfected making classic scones with strawberry jam and lemon curd to smother them all over, and the flourless chocolate cake tasted like gooey brownie batter.

As well as traditional teas brewed with apple and cinnamon flavors, they have specialty cocktails to complete your experience like a martini with bourbon, black tea, egg white, lemon juice, simple chai syrup and blackberry reduction… and of course a bubbly Glass of champagne!

Bookmark this page and come back next Friday for more holiday activities!
