We all know how gross that bucket of water can get when mopping floors that aren’t even that dirty to begin with.

But the harsh cleaner hack means you don’t have to reuse that dirty water.

Although Samina uses a Vivelda mop and bucket, any will do

Fill up your bucket as usual, but also fill up a separate bucket to place next to the main bucket to avoid spills.

This means that the clean, fresh water is separated from the used, dirty water.

So if Semina gets the mop wet, she can dip it in the clean water but throw excess dirty water into the other bucket.

The cleaning talent told The Mirror: “Rather than mixing the mop into dirty water after each use, I used a small bucket of warm clean water and floor cleaner.

“Once the area of the floor is nicely bullied I would then rinse out the dirty water I used in the first round.

“Then I continue with the clean water, finish washing the mop for round two and then rinse it clean.

“This gets less messy as you can see the results shown in the video.”

Viewers were amazed by the simple trick and couldn’t believe they hadn’t already thought of it.

One commented: “So simple, why didn’t I ever think of that?

“Will do that from now on, then I’ll go clean my floors.”

And a second said: “Makes so much sense.”

A third quipped: “Genius!!”
