CNN host Don Lemon accused of yelling at female co-host…Possible ‘ABUSE’!
Don Lemon, host of hit news panel show CNN This Morning, allegedly “yelled at” co-host Kaitlan Collins during an ugly incident in December – and the incident left the entire cast and crew on edge, Media Take out has learned .
The NYT Post reports that after the show aired on Thursday, December 8, Lemon, 56, approached Collins, 30 – and allegedly yelled in her face in front of staff. Don accused her of “interrupting” him on air.
“Don yelled at Kaitlan, who was visibly upset and ran out of the studio,” a source with knowledge told the NY Post.
And according to the report, Kaitlan went and told Don to CNN CEO Chris Licht, who was horrified by Don’s behavior, according to The NY Post. A second source said a producer spoke to Lemon at Licht’s behest and told the host to take the next day off to “cool off.”
At this point, Kaitlan wants to be on set with Don as little as possible,” added a source with knowledge of the situation. “It’s messy.”
A CNN representative declined to comment on the incident, but said, “In just three months, these anchors have created a compelling morning show that breaks news and drives conversation.”
