First place in the SEC’s West Division is at stake when Alabama travels to Baton Rouge, La., to face a resurgent Louisiana state roster under the lights. After losses to Florida State and Tennessee, freshman coach Brian Kelly has guided the Tigers back to seriousness and a top-10 finish. Both teams come from bye weeks. LSU last played against a top-ranked Mississippi team and won 45-20. The Crimson Tide stopped the state of Mississippi 30-6. Alabama is favored by 12½ points.
