Cooper Roberts condition: Boy paralyzed in Highland Park shooting moves from Comer Children’s Hospital to Shirley Ryan Ability Lab

CHICAGO– There is some good news about the health of one of the latest victims of the Highland Park tragedy.

Cooper Roberts, 8, was transferred to a Shirley Ryan Ability Lab after spending nearly a month at Comer Children’s Hospital.

Roberts, his twin brother and their mother were all wounded in the attack, which killed seven people on July 4.

Cooper was paralyzed during filming and has had multiple surgeries since then.

His family say he now eats solid food and has even been able to play with his dog, George.

Family friends started it GoFundMe campaign to support medical needs.
