Cops launch probe after EIGHT-year-old boy ‘robbed of his bike by three thugs’ in Nottingham

Police have launched an investigation after an eight-year-old boy allegedly had his bike stolen by three thugs.

The youngster was playing with his pal of 10 near Bradley Walk, Clifton, Nottingham when the incident happened around 5.10pm on Friday.

After approaching the children, the men on bicycles threatened the boys and left them terrified.

They then snatched the bike from the younger child’s hands before leaving the scene.

CCTV footage of the alleged suspects has now been shared in a bid to catch the scammers.

The entire group was spotted in tracksuits while one wore a balaclava.

They drove through a residential street before “targeting”. [the] Children”.

Nottinghamshire Police are currently conducting an investigation into, among other things, door knocking at the scene.

Detective Constable Anabelle Lee said they were “determined” to track down the trio.

She said: “This young victim and his friend were understandably dismayed by this incident and we are committed to finding those responsible.”

“It is totally unacceptable to target and steal from children. If anyone has any information I would urge them to contact the police immediately.”

Anyone with information can call the police on 101.
