Corey Taylor launches non-profit organisation to help PTSD sufferers

Corey Taylor founded the Taylor Foundation, a nonprofit that helps service members and first responders impacted by PTSD.

In a video posted to social media, the Slipknot and Stone Sour singers say he’s “delighted to announce the launch of the Taylor Foundation as a nonprofit charity.”

He explains that the charity is “looking to raise money for organizations that help treat or lift members of the military and members of the emergency services who are dealing with stress disorder.” post-traumatic stress disorder, also known as PTSD”.

Taylor added: “We will be partnering with pre-selected nonprofits at each touring stop who are actively providing meaningful and creative support to those impacted by PTSD. .”

In conjunction with this announcement, the rocker has launched a sweepstakes for a chance to win two tickets to a solo concert in London later this year at the London Palladium on October 17. Winners will receive VIP treatment including hanging out with Taylor.

“We’re giving you the opportunity to support us and in return, one lucky fan will hang out with me in London this October,” Taylor said. “We’ll put you in a hotel, give you two VIP tickets to my sold-out show at the world-famous London Palladium.”

He added that anyone who donates $50 or more “will automatically receive an actual autographed poster of you.”

Earlier this week, Kelly Osbourne announced that she and Sid Wilson of Slipknot are expecting a child together.

The couple first made their relationship public in February, with Osbourne writing on Instagram: “After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe how far we’ve come! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I love you so much Sidney George Wilson. ”

Meanwhile, Slipknot has partnered with virtual game world makers Sandbox debut KNOTVERSEbilled as “a completely immersive space to host Web3 experiences” curated by Slipknot and their Knotfest brand.
