Coronation Street’s Claire Sweeney looks sensational in a form-fitting pink dress ahead of the ITV soap opera debut

CLAIRE Sweeney looked stunning in a striking look pink dress before her Coronation Street debut.
The Brookside legend, 52 – known for playing the feisty Lindsey Corkhill – beamed in her chic dress with a one-shoulder number that reached to the floor.
Claire styled her blonde locks in a stylish short bob and added a pop of color as her lip color matched her dress.
Beaming for the camera, she posed with journalist and DJ Pete Burrell as they prepared to host a Eurovision event in Liverpool.
The soap star wrote in her Instagram caption: “So excited at the launch of @bbceurovision with @petecityprice. Then host @euroclub2023 @campandfurnace @nationallottery tonight.”
Fans rushed to the comments section to gush over her sensational look, as one said: “Fabulous in pink.”
Another added: “Rocking that dress is gorgeous!”
A third wrote: “Stunning lady.”
Her glamorous look came just weeks after the soap favorite’s new role on Coronation Street was unveiled.
The soap icon and West End star will play mechanics Tyrone Dobbs’ mom cassie, her debut in June.
Claire said, “Even though I’ve had an amazing career, being on Coronation Street is better for me than being cast in a Hollywood movie.”
The show will be the fourth soap to be added to her long résumé – she’s also had roles on Holby City and Doctors.
Last year, Claire announced that she had stopped weighing herself after saying that scales could “break our heads”.
She posted a chart on Instagram showing her weight as well as other body measurements, with the image showing that she had fallen from 12.06 stone to 11.86 stone in just two days.
Claire wrote: “Okay this is mental!!! Lost 6 pounds in just two days.
“As it turns out, don’t rely on the scale. It could be the time of day you weigh yourself, how you position yourself, the time of the month. Water retention, everything makes the difference.”
She concluded: “I’m going to use my favorite pair of jeans as a benchmark from now on. No wonder dandruff can rack our brains. From now on favorite jeans and photo diary.”
