Country star halts Las Vegas concert to urge fans to take selfies Culture

Country star Miranda Lambert canceled her Velvet Rodeo show in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 15 to urge fans to take selfies during her songs.

A video shared by TikTok user @redneckinvegas shows the three-time Grammy winner, 39, on stage at the Bakkt Theater when she suddenly stops singing her 2016 ballad, “Tin Man.”

“I’m going to stop here for a second… I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, it makes me a little bit mad,” Lambert said to the cheers of the crowd.

“You guys are here tonight for some country music, I’m singing some fucking country music,” she continued, motioning for viewers to sit down.
