Creepy Killer Doll Brings More Terrors

A child being pulled by the ear by a killer robot

Is it already 2023? We are on explode with anticipation Per M3GAN– The Killer Doll (actually a child-sized robot powered by an alarmingly confident AI) film produced by known nightmare-mongers James Wan (The incantation) and Jason Blum (The black phone). This harrowing new clip makes us even more excited.

Admittedly, we’ve seen a lot of this material before the previous trailersbut whatever you do, don’t miss the grisly little snippet at about 57 seconds.

M3GAN – “first look”

“I think people need to be reminded that this technology is here,” says director Gerald Johnston in the clip. (Do we, Gerald? do we?) “We’re not far from something like M3GAN existing, and that’s quite unsettling.” A few seconds later, James Wan, delighted with his macabre self, insists, “This movie is really fun,” and it is this one Mixture of emotional responses – screaming in fear, screaming in laughter – that draws us most to this film. Well, that and also seeing M3GAN do her naughty dance routine on the big screen.

M3GAN stars Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ronny Chieng, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Lori Dungey and Stephane Garneau-Monten; it hits theaters on January 6th.
