Crime Fighters: Who killed Daquan Owens?

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Reports of a bushfire turned into a murder investigation, and now authorities are hoping you can help identify the killer.
Chopper 6 was over the scene of what began as a call to a brush fire at 7:30am on Thursday 4 August
It happened on the 3100 block of South 81st Street in Philadelphia’s Eastwick neighborhood.
“Upon arrival, they were met by the firefighter. They found a charred, burned body inside, which was taken to the coroner’s office,” said Santo Montecalvo of the Citizens Crime Commission.
The man was later identified as 25-year-old Daquan Owens. It turned out that he had been shot in the stomach and then set on fire.
“This is a murder. Anyone with information that we may be implicated in this case will receive a $20,000 reward,” Montecalvo said. “Please call the Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS. You remain anonymous.”
The reward goes to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
