Cringey’ wedding guest shamed for bizarre outfit change halfway through the event – and people think the text sums it up

A COAT change is sometimes appropriate and even encouraged, but one wedding guest has faced criticism for her impromptu change.

Not only are people confused about the mid-wedding wardrobe change, but they call it “cringey”.

A Redditor u/savealltheelephants shared her cousin’s wedding dress change on a forum about wedding shaming.

They explained: “The guests at my cousin’s reception changed into this outfit in the middle of the night.

The guest, pictured next to the bride in her wedding dress, wore a black tank top with “Trouble” on the front as well as black shorts with a white bow.

While the guest appeared to be getting ready and ready for bed, the other guests in the photo continued to wear their formal wedding attire, with a woman wearing a vibrant pink dress.

Many reviewers were baffled by the guest’s sudden stand up.

“Even though this looks like a normal wedding, does it look like she’s ready to go to bed?” a confused commenter said.

“I really don’t understand the thought process here,” they added.

“The only way I’m okay with it is if the reception is a pajama party, to be honest, I think it would be cool to do that,” another agreed.

Others thought that the inscription on the guest’s tank top explained all that involved her behavior.

“Trouble? Change that to annoying,” joked another reviewer.

“Anything that labels a person on their clothes is confusing,” another agreed.

Others shared similar thoughts on the word choice on her tank top: “Trouble? I think it’s missing a letter,” one person commented.

“Anyone who thinks this is appropriate is clearly PROBLEM.”
