Damar Hamlin was spotted on stage recording The Masked Singer

About a month after Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and suffered cardiac arrest, the NFL player was photographed on tap of the Fox TV series The Masked Singer.
But the only thing he wore on his face was a bright smile.
Buffalo Bills security was a guest at a taping of the Emmy-winning reality singing competition in LA on Tuesday, photos revealed by TMZ. Hamlin appeared on stage with a soccer ball and stood alongside presenter Nick Cannon with Hamlin’s name projected onto the screen behind them.
In one photo, Hamlin, 24, looked down from the stage and smiled with one hand on his chest.
Hamlin wore a hoodie and sweatpants from his Chasing Millions clothing line, proceeds of which benefit his family’s Chasing M’s Foundation Charitable Fund. Sales of the line “Did we win?” Merchandise goes to First Responders and the University of Cincinnati Trauma Centerwhere Hamlin was treated after the in-game incident.
While he was in the hospital, still unable to breathe or speak on his own, Hamlin famously scrawled “Did we win?” on a note for doctors.
After a tackle during a Monday Night Football game on January 2, Hamlin’s heart skipped a beat as he fell to the grass. His teammates, fans at the stadium and millions at home watching the national broadcast were stunned when Hamlin was resuscitated, defibrillated and rushed to hospital by ambulance. The incident shocked the sports world and sparked renewed calls to make the game safer.
In what doctors described as a “remarkable recovery,” Hamlin was discharged from the hospital less than two weeks after the incident and continued to recover at home. He made his first public appearance to see his team during a playoff game at Bills Stadium on January 22nd.
“What happened to me on ‘Monday Night Football’ I think is a direct example of how God is using me as a vehicle to share my passion and love with the whole world straight from my heart,” Hamlin said in one Video published last week on his Instagram account.
“And now I can help children and communities around the world who need it most. And that has always been my dream,” he added. “I’ve always stood for that and I will continue to stand for that. ”
With Hamlin’s appearance on The Masked Singer, he joins other NFL players to grace the show’s stage.
Wide receiver Antonio Brown became the first celebrity to be unmasked on the show in 2019. Hall of Famer quarterback Terry Bradshaw, former star tight end Rob Gronkowski and Philadelphia Eagle Jordan Mailata were all contenders.
Fox hasn’t released any information about Hamlin’s performance, but season 9 of The Masked Singer will air on February 15.
