BERLIN — The Danish island of Bornholm was without power on Monday, local power suppliers said, amid calls for increased security measures to protect Europe’s critical infrastructure .

The incident comes after a complex operation of sabotage brought train traffic in Northern Germany to a halt on Saturday and days after powerful undersea explosions near Bornholm hit a gas pipeline. Nord Stream connects Russia with Europe.
