Dave Bautista Says Austin Butler Won’t Do Elvis Voice in Dune 2

Austin Butler – formerly best known for MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles– submitted a service elvis which earned him A-list fame and an Oscar nomination. His next projectDenis Villeneuves Dune: Part Twois similarly high quality and sounds like it showcases another aspect of his acting talents.
“Everything about his behavior is appalling” butlers Dune: Part Two co-star, Knock on the cottageis Dave Bautistasaid Variety. Butler will play Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, a character from Frank Herbert’s book, previously and unforgettablely brought to screen by Sting in David Lynch’s 1984 dune. And there’s Butler’s stubborn Elvis accent – a crucial aspect of the character that was required much research and practice– was the subject of much speculation and entertainment as he did the awards rounds, here’s Bautista to assure us Feyd-Rautha won’t be speaking in a Southern tone and to praise his fellow actor’s ability to transform himself: “I don’t know who that guy was, but it’s not Austin Butler. It’s not Elvis. His voice is different, his looks are different.”
We will only be able to see How different when Dune: Part Two hits theaters on November 3rd.
