Death of Andrea Evans: ‘The Young and the Restless’ star dies at the age of 66

The young and the restless Star Andrea Evans has died at the age of 66.
The news was confirmed by the actor’s current manager, Nick Leicht.
“I have been working with Andrea for seven years. She was such an enormous talent and was an absolute pleasure to work with,” said Leicht People in an opinion.
Evans reportedly died of breast cancer Sunday (July 9) at her home in Pasadena, Calif.

However, the actor abruptly left the show in the 1990s and stayed out of the public eye. It later turned out that her experience with a stalker influenced her decision.
Her husband Stephen Rodriguez, whom she married in 1998, issued a statement following her death.
“Andrea was a remarkable personality who was appreciated by all who knew her,” he said.

“She has met challenges with grace, resilience and an enduring love for life. Andrea and I have been together for over 30 years. She was a great wife and mother. She was my ROCK. The cancer killed Andrea, but not her spirit. That spirit is alive and well and lives on in each of us she touched,” he said.
The late actor’s co-stars also paid tribute to her on social media.
Evans’s To live a life Co-stars Melissa Archer and Kassie DePaiva describe her death as “heartbreaking news”.
“Andrea was a friendly woman, fun to work with and such a professional,” Archer wrote on Facebook. “I’m so happy I got to play with her OLTL And The Bay the series.”

“It makes me so sad to hear of the passing of this talented actress. She helped set OLTL in the spotlight. Cancer sucks! (sic),” DePaiva wrote on Facebook.
“I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Andrea Evans. Andrea was already a big star when my career started OLTLtweeted Frank Valentini, former executive producer of To live a life.
“She was always friendly, accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. A legend of the day that we will miss dearly. My condolences go out to her friends and family.”
Evans is survived by her husband and daughter Kylie.
“At just 19, my world has changed forever and words cannot adequately express the depth of my sadness. “My mom was my best friend,” Kylie said in a statement People.
