Delaware bicycle accident: Man from Chester, Pennsylvania killed in Camden Wyoming crash

CAMDEN WYOMING, Delaware (WPVI) — A Chester, Pennsylvania man was killed in a bicycle accident in Kent County, Delaware, on Saturday morning.

State police said the accident happened around 8:23 a.m. on Apple Grove School Road near Allabands Mill Road in the Camden-Wyoming area.

According to investigators, the 51-year-old was traveling with a larger group of cyclists at the time.

According to police, the man collided with a bicycle that was slowing down in front of him.

He lost control of his bike, swerved into the other lane and was hit by a GMC Sierra pickup.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His name was not released until the family was notified.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
