The actor lost control of his car before crashing into a gate.

The accident happened on the morning of Wednesday March 22, 2023 and police officers arrived at the scene to find Dick at the wheel of his Lexus LS 500.

Where is Dick Van Dyke now?

It is understood that the actor did not require hospital treatment.

He was reportedly picked up by someone so he didn’t have to drive home from the scene.

It’s not the first time the actor has been involved in a car incident.

In 2013, he escaped unharmed after his car caught fire on a highway.

Witness Jason Pennington told TMZ he saw an elderly man “hunched over” at the wheel.

Dick was pulled from his vehicle, having no idea his Jaguar was on fire.

Speaking to TMZ at the time, he said, “It just started making noises and I thought I had a flat foot at first, then it started smoking, then it burned crispy.

“A fireman, a nurse and a police officer happened to be passing by. Somebody take care of me.”

While he escaped unharmed and required no treatment, he remained “slightly disoriented”.

His wife Arlene Silver later revealed in a Vine video that the actor was “fine” after being involved in the ordeal.
