Did Aaron Carter die? Singer-rapper found dead at California home at age 34

LANCASTER, California– Singer Aaron Carter was found dead at his home in California on Saturday morning after sheriff’s deputies responded to an emergency medical call.
Carter’s family confirmed the singer’s death. They did not immediately provide further comment.
After receiving a report of a possible drowning, the deputies arrived at the Lancaster residence just before 11 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told ABC7.
Carter was pronounced dead at the scene.
In accordance with accidental death protocol, homicide detectives were called to the location to conduct an investigation, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The official cause of death was initially unknown.
Carter was a contestant on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” in 2009.
Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, opened for Britney Spears and his brother’s boy band and appeared on the family’s reality series House of Carters, which airs on E! entertainment television.
Carter’s fifth and final studio album, LOVE, was released in 2018.
