With The ultimatum: get married or move on With season two arriving on Netflix, viewers might be curious about an update on the couples we met in The Ultimatum: Queer Love. A spin-off from the original season of marry or move on, Queer Love followed a cast that consisted mostly of women and non-binary performers.
The rules were the same as the original show. Couples came after one gave the other an ultimatum: either marry or separate. When the couples were cast on the Netflix show, they all split and began a three-week trial marriage with another candidate before then rejoining their original partner to attempt a trial marriage with them.
At the end of the season, contestants must decide whether to get engaged, move on with someone new, or break up and go in peace. Almost all couples are there Queer Love eventually got engaged, but most were broken up by the reunion.

Although Rae and Lexi were still engaged at the reunion, a special blurb at the end of the episode revealed that they split shortly after filming.
Rae and Xander have sparked dating rumors as Rae has frequently posted with Xander on her social media, but they may just be friends. Neither of them have said whether they are dating or not. Lexi is now dating photographer Kristin “Zanc” Zancanelli. Also, she is still close friends with Mal.

Sam and Aussie were the only couple to survive the experience and ended up getting engaged. However, it’s unclear if they’ve officially tied the knot yet, as neither posts much about their relationship on social media. For now, it looks like they’re happily engaged, and hopefully we’ll get an update on their marriage plans soon!
