Disneyland Paris Lights Up the Night With Avengers Drone Show

As the larger Disney group celebrates turning 100 years old This October, Disneyland Paris celebrates its own 30th birthday in April. To commemorate the milestone of France amusement park currently has an Avengers themed show for the park goers who stay until the evening.

Avengers: Turn on the Night is exactly what it sounds like, a grand night-time finale where 500 drones form light projections based on the powers of current MCU stars like Captains America and Marvel, as well as the Scarlet Witch. Shang-Chi will also appear in the drone show marking his Disneyland Paris debut. All of them will be blasted onto the Tower of Terror for everyone to see, and to make the drone show even more compelling than it already is, it will be themed from the Marvel movies, arranged into unique versions, and recorded by one symphony orchestra. You can see some of the drone work in the video below as director Arnaud Feredj and producer Ben Spalding get involved in creating the event.

It’s a proven formula that’s clearly Disney and one that I’m proud to be a part of.”

Spalding emphasizes this in the video Turn on the night would be an event only in Paris and said that it “exists nowhere overall in the world.” That kind of exclusivity might draw people to see the event — but given Marvel’s importance to Disney’s brand and the importance of the company’s big birthday, it’s likely that other theme parks will have their own exclusive events , just waiting to be announced.

Avengers: Turn on the Night runs from January 28th to May 8th at Disneyland Paris.
