ALBANY, New York– Melody Harkness, director and CEO of Harkness Consulting Solutions, knows what it’s like to feel “confined in a company”.
“Personally, I have experienced tokenism and microaggressions, racism and sexism. It has been a personal mission for me to find solutions for those who have had experiences similar to mine,” she says.
In 2020, she took a leap of faith and opened her own consulting firm to help introduce more inclusive workplace practices, policies and procedures. Through training, business marketing plans, workshops and company reviews, Harkness and her team’s mission is to help organizations have the right skills and resources to motivate change and improvement.
