Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs: How to watch, start times, schedule

What you need to know: The Dodgers are taking a break from NL West Division games when they welcome the Chicago Cubs to Dodger Stadium for the first of four games on Thursday.

Tony Gonsolin gets a chance to improve on his perfect 10-0 record and 1.54 earned run average when he meets a Cubs team that struggled in June and won just 10 of 27 games, but Had better luck in July with string wins against Boston and Milwaukee.

The Cubs, who are 34-48 and third in the NL Central, will counter Gonsolin with right-hander Mark Leiter Jr., who is 2-2 and has a 4.85 ERA.

In the home stand, the Dodgers (52-29) have won six of seven games — three of four from San Diego and three games against Colorado after beating the Rockies 2-1 on Wednesday.

At the end of their streak with the Cubs, the Dodgers travel to St. Louis for three with the Cardinals and then fly back to California for two games with the Angels in Anaheim before the All-Star break.
