dr Phil usually gives pretty good advice to HS sufferers and people who appear on his show. But the advice he gave to Jon Gosselin, Media Take Out learned, is downright shocking.

In the new documentary about Vice, Jon Gosselin makes shocking claims about his time on Jon & Kate Plus 8. One of them is that Dr. Phil told him to stay married to his wife Kate Gosselin and take a concubine.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 was a hit reality show that ran from 2007 to 2011. It was about the oversized Gosselin family, hired out by parents Jon and Kate, which also included twins Mady and Cara, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Hannah and Alexis.
Jon and Kate experienced their separation in 2010 and much media tried to get them to stay together or reconcile for the sake of the show and the money it was bringing the family.
Jon says he and Kate reached an agreement to reconcile and have a relationship “only on reality TV”. Kate reportedly has a meeting with Dr. Phil agrees and tries to get Jon to sign crazy papers.
Jon told the documentarians: “Dr. Phil says, well, just stay married for TV and do your own thing on the side. I think no!”
