Drake hits back at Charlamagne Tha God over ‘Slime You Out’ review

After Charlamagne Tha God gave a negative review of Drake’s new single with SZA, “Slime You Out,” Drake hopped on Instagram Story to fire off.

“Are you okay, Lenard? You’re kind of driving me crazy, G,” he wrote. “Like you’ve been really obsessed with me for years or something, like you look in the mirror and wish you’d seen my reflection, shit. Whatever you have to do to let it out, I’m sure your 435 loyal fans will stand by you, you fucking idiot.”

On The Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne said:

“Drake put out a song last Friday and no one cared about it. It came out last Friday and people just started talking about the lyrics yesterday… That’s not Drake-like. He’ll be fine. But you also see the album cover and think “For All the Dogs.” I think we were looking for something more difficult.”

“Slime You Out” still debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
