The job has been advertised by Stewart Travel Ltd in Ayr who are looking for a ‘Lapland Expert’.

The lucky applicant joins the team planning his Santa Claus trips.

Whilst some sales experience is desirable you will also need to ‘bring the magic of Christmas/Lapland to life’.

Many of the excursions include meeting Santa and his elves, as well as husky and reindeer sleigh rides and a visit to the ski town of Levi.

The trips are all ATOL protected and also have free children’s seats.

The application states: “The Lapland division of one of Scotland’s most dynamic holiday travel groups is recruiting talented and confident sales people for our fast growing specialty business – Santa Claus Trips.”

Although based in Scotland, the listing offers hybrid office work and work from home.

Exact salary isn’t listed, although it’s described as “competitive,” and the role also includes travel discounts.

Sun Online Travel spoke to some other people who had their dream jobs while traveling.

These range from traveling around Australia to staying at a five star resort in the Maldives.

You can currently get paid to live on a tiny island between England and Wales in another dream job listing.

If you want something normal, we’ve rounded up thousands of festive vacancies this Christmas.
