Driver blasts ‘typical BMW driver’ for almost causing motorway crash – but everyone’s saying the same thing

A MOTORIST beat up a ‘typical BMW driver’ after he almost caused a motorway crash – but everyone is saying the same thing.

The driver, using the username “McEnroe,” posted dashcam footage on TikTok of what he described as a “near miss.”

The video first shows a driver on the M4 dangerously changing lanes just meters from the TikToker’s engine without pointing it out.

The reckless driver, who is traveling at some speed, then swerves in all three lanes as the journey progresses.

Trying to regain control, the idiot driver frantically brakes, but not before colliding with the rear of a car pulling off the slipway onto the main freeway.

Incredibly, the footage shows that the BMW only appears to show off after colliding with the other driver.

But the dangerous motorist wasn’t done with that.

As the engine swerves sharply as a result of the collision, the driver veers to the right and only just misses another car in the right-hand lane.

Thankfully, no one appeared to have been injured in the incident, but it could easily have had a horrific outcome.

The BMW driver was guilty of a number of crimes, not the least of which was dangerous driving.

Those guilty of such an act can see 3 to 11 points on their driver’s license, further penalties can be an unlimited fine and a driving ban.

Worst of all, the BMW driver was unable to stop after colliding with another engine – which could be seen as a hit and run.

Known in law as “Failure to Stop or Report an Accident”, it is a criminal offense in any event where injury or damage is caused.

The driver is obliged to stop at the scene of the accident and provide his data.

Failure to comply can result in penalty points, a fine of up to £5,000 and even imprisonment.

As always, TikTokers were quick to respond to the comments to offer their opinions after watching the footage.

But aside from the horrible driving, some social media users pointed out one thing in particular.

“Nice bit of mid lane strain,” said one.

A second wrote: “Obviously he’s totally to blame but why isn’t anyone moving when everyone’s driving at the same speed?”

While a third remarked, “Why is everyone in the middle lane?”

Driving in the middle lane without overtaking another vehicle – also known as lane occupation – is actually a criminal offense under the Highway Code.

This is because this habit is classified as careless driving, similar to driving too close to another vehicle.

There may be a fine of £100 and three penalty points if you receive a fixed fine.

Staying in the middle lane can help prevent other drivers behind you from overtaking, which can cause traffic flow problems.

Others continued to criticize the reckless driver in the comments.

“BMW AUDI is still there,” said one.

Another commented: “Usually people condone his driving it’s scary they have a driver’s license.”
