This cost-effective solution uses basic products that you can find anywhere in your home.

TikToker @ArnieNegrete revealed how to make your car look brand new with coconut oil and white vinegar.

The influencer tested the hack step by step on his car.

“Okay, I’ve got this nasty scratch – let’s see if that erases it. Let’s go,” he said.

The video footage first showed him mixing coconut oil and white vinegar together.

He then rubs the scratch lightly with a clean microfiber cloth before we see it disappear completely.

The result left him stunned: “Oh! That is so cool.”

The viral video has garnered nearly 30 million views and thousands of comments on social media.

Users quickly responded to the video praising the hack.

“It actually works,” said one person.

“Wow I just saved myself £116,” said another.

“I’ll try that,” said a third.

However, others warned it hadn’t worked for them and said people shouldn’t test it on their cars.

One slammed: “NOT WORKING. I feel silly for trying.

“As a detailer, you don’t do that, folks. Please, for heaven’s sake, just get some tcut and some compound paint,” commented another.

Others said it was only a temporary repair and the scratches reappeared after the compound dried on the car.

“Bro it works for about an hour then the scratches come back,” said one user.
