Drugs, guns seized during SWAT search of Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 23-year-old man who was taken into custody by the Davidson County SWAT team is now facing multiple drug charges.

Several agencies, including TBI and THP, were executing a search warrant at the home of Michael Parris, 23, around 5 a.m. Monday. At the home, officers seized over a pound of marijuana that was packaged for resale, about 40 grams of cocaine packaged in several plastic bags, a digital scale and a firearm, according to an affidavit.

Documents say that after the search, Parris admitted to law enforcement that all the narcotics, paraphernalia and firearms found in the home belonged to him.
